{name:Elliott#|#picture:1}I smiled to myself, and opened my closet. I picked out a shirt, jacket, jeans and flip flops. I layed them down on my
bed and walked into the bathroom to take a shower. I was going out with the girl of my dreams. The girl I wanted ever
since I laid eyes on her, the girl I loved and never could or would stop loving her. I knew how to win Brooke back,
sooner or later she'd come back to me, and Matt would have to back off. I didn't care about the guy but, I knew
who would win Brooke over, and that guy would be me.

In an hour I was showered and dressed, and parked outside of Brooke's house. I sprayed one more whiff of cologne
and opened the car door. I stepped out of the car, and closed the door behind me. I walked up to her front door slowly,
looking around to see if she had been outside waiting for me. I stood at the door, and adjusted my jacket, then knocked
on the door slowly. I sighed, and waited for Brooke to answer. The door opened slowly, and out stepped Brooke, I looked
her up and down, amazed by her prescence. She looked beautiful in her summer dress.
"Hey. You look..nice." I smiled.
"Uh, Thanks. You ready to go?" She asked.
"Yeah, are you ready?" I asked, running a hand through my hair.
"Yeah." She said, closing the door. She started to walk down the steps of the porch.
I placed a hand on the small of her back, leading her to my car. Brooke didn't seem to happy about being here, I could tell,
but I was glad being here, I was with her, and that was all that mattered. I opened the car door for her and she got in.
I started to close it for her and she said, "Thanks, but I can close it myself Elliott." She sighed. She slammed the door shut.
I walked over to the drivers side, swing my keys around my finger. I got inside, and looked over at Brooke before closing the door shut.
I turned on the music, and turned the key in the ignition. "Brooke...You-?" I started to ask.
"I'm perfectly fine Elliott." She sighed, buckling her seatbelt. I pulled my seatbelt out and buckled it with a sigh.
I pressed my foot on the accelerator and we drove down the street to the coffee house.
